Item #AN112C - Antares 17.5 Long/Forward (3A), Wide Tree with the Innovative DTA 50 Panels, 2015
Antares 17.5” Close Contact Jumping Saddle. Seat measures true to size by our tape. Padded flap. Flap is long and forward (3A in this brand), measuring approximately 14” from the top of the stirrup bar where the buckle sits to the bottom of the flap and approximately 14” in width at the widest point. Wide tree (AO1), with a measurement between the dots of approximately 4.5” and a fit best suited to horses with more muscular builds. An additional amazing feature is Antares’ innovative DTA 50 panels, which are designed for horse’s comfort by distributing weight across a broader area, thus relieving pressure. Features slightly larger front and back blocks for extra security, a feature that any rider will appreciate when a horse is fresh and/or as the jumps get larger. Has both billet guards, the attached kind which is nice to prevent them from getting lost. Made in 2015. Very well-maintained, with grippy leather. A feature I love is the hidden fancy stitch on the underside of the gullet – no one but you will know it’s there, but it’s a conservative yet gorgeous touch that exudes quality, class, and beauty. I see typical light signs of use, signs of use on billets, and two mild dings on pommel (see photo for close-up). Has never even had a nameplate on the cantle, so let yours be the first. Price new is in the neighborhood of $5,000. Comes with Antares fleecy-lined cover. Ours just $2595.
