Butet Close Contact Jumping Saddle. If you want a saddle in as close to new condition but at a used price, this may be the one for you. Stamped 17 and as is common for this brand, measures generously at 17.5” by our tape. This is the model popular Butet model we sell, the “L” seat which is right in the middle of their seat depth range (not as flat as the P flat seat model nor as deep as the C extra-deep model). I love the narrow twist which is famous for allowing the rider's leg to wrap down and around the horse especially well. Flap is long and forward (2.5 in this brand), measuring approximately 14” from the top of the stirrup bar where the buckle sits to the bottom of the flap, and approximately 14” in width at the widest point. Padded flap. Front blocks. (Rear blocks were removed, as we sometimes see for rider preference to add or remove blocks). Excellent condition, with only a season or two of use. Has never even had a nameplate on it, so yours would be the first! Tree size is regular (but more suited a high-withered TB type build), measuring approximately 4” between to the dots under the pommel. French grain flaps with calfskin knee/seat. Great saddle for the rider who likes a close contact without an excess of "stuff" between horse and rider.  I just see typical darkening on flaps at lower leg contact area, and a lighter area on sweat flap (underneath where rear block originally sat) where the oiling did not darken the saddle as much as other areas. You will note natural striations in the color on the calfksin on underside of panels (not a flaw, just the grain of the leather). Made in 2013 and looks much newer due to outstanding condition. New  approximately $5,550. Save thousands, try before you buy, and your friends will still think you bought it new!  Comes with original Butet cover. $2695
