Stubben Edelweiss NT Deluxe with Biomex seat. Measures approximately 16 ¾" by our tape so may work for a rider who takes a 16.5 or 17. Biomex seat offers cushioning under the rider's seat bones with less bulk in other areas for less weight overall and a more streamlined saddle. According to the manufacturer, "The Edelweiss NT Deluxe is built on the flat NT tree and features extremely soft supple doubled leather that combines both smoothness and grip on its surface.  Short points and a narrow twist make this saddle the ultimate close contact saddle." Stübben has partnered with Biomex Technology Center at Klinic Gut, a leading hospital for orthopedics and sports medicine in Switzerland, to create an innovative seat design that can greatly reduce a rider's back pain. Introducing the Patent Pending Stübben Biomex. For more information on Biomex, please visit this very informative link: http://stubbennorthamerica.com/biomex-seats/. This saddle features a narrow twist (hence the NT in the saddle model), to better help the rider wrap their leg down around the horse. The overall design is ideal for a rider who prefers less "stuff" between horse and rider, for a very close contact. If you find that many popular saddles are too padded and stuffed like a couch, and prefer the less bulky saddles of yesterday but with the updated modern features, in a brand that is know to be especially long-lasting, this may be the saddle for you. Features padded flap with a special design that puts thicker padding right where you need it most to press into while keep it slim in areas where you need it less. Front blocks. Has both billet guards. Tree is stamped 31cm (medium/wide type of fit). Flap measures approximately 13 ¼" in length from the top of the stirrup bar where the buckle sits to the bottom of the flap and approximately 13 ¼" in width at the widest part, a measurement that is fairly standard for a 17" seat saddle (generous on a 16.5" seat saddle) and typically is popular for riders in the 5'2" to 5'6" range. Excellent condition, according to the consignor it has only been ridden in three times; this info is supported by the fact the saddle still has its new price tag stuck on the billet guard from when it was bought new for ($2625 plus in case you were curious).  I just see a couple of spots on the underside of panels.
