Item #AN96C - Antares 17/17.5, Full Calfskin, Excellent Condition, 2009 Model, with DTA Panels, Very Soft Grippy Leather
Antares Close Contact Jumping Saddle. Seat measures approximately 17 ¼" by our tape, stamped 17, so may work for a rider who takes a 17 or 17.5. We love the features on this saddle! Full calfskin, an expensive premium upgrade for grip and softness. If you love soft, buttery, grippy leather this may be the saddle for you as it came from an especially grippy batch of calfskin. Deeper seat offers a secure ride helpful for jumping larger fences, riding fresh or green horses, and/or any other scenarios in which a little extra security in the ride is appreciated. Made in 2009. Regular tree offers a versatile fit, measuring approximately 4.5" between the two dots, a tree size that will work for many horses. Flap is stamped 1 for short, but we note that the measurement is comparable to a standard flap, measuring approximately 13" from the top of the stirrup bar to the bottom of the flap and approximately 13 1/4" in width at the widest point. Features the DTA panel option (panels are broader under seat to distribute weight over a larger surface area to maximize comfort of the horse's back). Padded flaps. Front and back blocks. Has both billet guards. One of my favorite features of this saddle is the "hidden" fancy stitch accent on the channel on the underside of the saddle, a beautiful touch. Excellent condition, has not even had a nameplate on it so let yours be the first. Made in 2009. Retails around $5,000 in this leather option + wait time. Gorgeous grippy saddle, ideal for the rider who wants a saddle in excellent condition that looks like a new saddle but doesn't have the price tag of a new one. Comes with Antares cover.
