My name is Cori McGraw and I am the founder of High-End Used Saddles, LLC.
My career in matching riders with saddles initially stemmed from my own search for a quality used saddle. At the time, most used saddle dealers were warehouses that carried so many different brands that it was nearly impossible for them to be familiar enough with each brand to know why one saddle might be better than another for particular needs. I felt there was a need for a specialist catering to A Circuit riders who could provide a more personalized saddle selection process. With the information and experience I gained from my own search for the right saddle, I began assisting competitve riders locally and nationwide in finding quality used saddles. That interest in matching riders with saddles led to the formation of this company.
I am a lifelong rider and grew up in Orange County riding hunter/jumpers in San Juan Capistrano, CA. My trainers there included Katie & John Berney, Marci Mosconi, Mary Morrison, and Ron Kennedy. In college I competed on the IHSA equestrian team for Skidmore College the year Skidmore won one of their IHSA national championships. I transferred to the University of California, Irvine where I graduated summa cum laude and went on to law school at Stanford Univeristy. I practiced law for several years but missed having enough time to ride more often. To remedy that, I took a working student position with an Olympic rider in Europe. I started this business when I returned to the US. I have had the opportunity to clinic with some of the top riders in our sport, including George Morris, Diane Carney, Victor Hugo-Vidal, Nick Karazissis, Kost Karazissis, and a week trip to train at Greg Best's farm in New Zealand. I currently live in the Tucson, AZ area and ride with Laura DeCesari at DeCesari Equestrian, located at the state-of-the-art Bandolero Ranch facility.
Thank you to my hundreds and hundreds of wonderful customers for allowing me to take part in helping you meet your riding goals. I appreciate your ongoing business and loyalty.
